Collin joined Mackintosh last school year and we are excited that he will be offering after school enrichment classes this year. Collin was most recently a founding teacher and TinkerLab Curator at Bennett Day School in Chicago and had been working in the Boulder/Denver area as an Education Advisor and consultant. With more than ten years of experience as a classroom teacher and administrator, Collin strives to design educational programs and constructionist learning environments that center on experiential co-creation and learning. He is also an educator dedicated to using technology as a tool for learning, but also to develop, document, and enhance learning experiences.
Collin graduated from Valparaiso University and then earned a masters in educational leadership from Loyola University Chicago. Collin was a tenured classroom teacher in Oak Park, Illinois where he taught first and fourth grades prior to serving as the school’s assistant principal for two years. He was awarded a Golden Apple Teacher of Distinction during his time as a first grade teacher. Collin also taught and directed Camp Invention for five years, an inquiry-based science camp sponsored by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Registration and Cancellation Policy
Enrichment Registration opens Thursday, October 18 at 7:00pm and will close Monday, November 26 at 11:59pm!
This closing date allows us to determine whether or not a class has enough enrollment to run. However, registration will remain open for those classes that still have space and have met their minimum number of students by November 26 at 11:59pm.
Because these classes are enrollment driven, we have the following cancellation policy:
To cancel your registration: Email email@example.com your full name, student’s name, and the name of the class.
Mackintosh reserves the right to cancel any Enrichment class that does not meet minimum enrollment. Full refunds will be issued and you will be notified at least one week prior to the start date of class (notification will be November 27 for classes that begin on December 3 and 4).
